A Very Rare French Gold Bladed Folding Fruit Knife in its original green shagreen case.  The piece was made in Paris in around 1765.  The piece is in excellent condition with no cracks to the mother of pearl.

Very Large French Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Fruit Knife.  The piece comprises of a large steel blade as well as a silver blade with light engraving to it.  The piece is encased with silver which is minutely engraved with a floral pattern.  Each blade is on massive cut springs.  The piece is 9 inches long with one of the blades out.  The piece is called a "Couteau Sans Clous".  This means that the rivets holding the knife are hidden under the mother of pearl scales.  The piece dates to around 1730.  There is one crack to each side of the mother of pearl scales. 

George IV Bone Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The knife has a long silver bolster, and the blade has a bright-cut decorated edge to it.  Sheffield 1826 and made by John Nowill.

The piece is in excellent condition with no cracks to the handle.

Rare Chester Hallmarked Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Fruit Knife.  The knife handle is plain, Chester 1912.

Rare George V Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is plain and the handle is extremely thick.  Sheffield 1915 and made by the very well known maker of John Yeomans Cowlishaw.  The silver blade also has the additional mark of "A&N", which meant the knife was retailed through the Army and Navy Stores.

Minature George III Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is ribbed, and the knife has a ribbed long bolster as well.  The knife dates to around 1800.

George IV Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is plain, and has a long ribbed silver bolster.  Sheffield 1825.  The knife is in excellent condition.

William IV Tortoiseshell Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  Sheffield 1830 and made by John Nowill.  Condition is excellent.

Rare Victorian Ivory Hafted Silver-Gilt Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The knife handle has the initialls of "A.C" engraved on to the handle.  The knife has a silver-gilt bladed.  Sheffield 1896 and made by Browne and Clarke.  The piece is in excellent condition.

Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is carved into a chequerboard pattern.  Birmingham 1850.  The knife is in excellent condition.

Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is carved with a bobble edge around the edge of the knife with the pattern matching on the silver cap.  On the cap there are the initialls "GM".  Sheffield 1867 and made by Thomas Marples.  Condition is excellent.

Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl has a plate to the centre of the knife engraved with "May from Pat" on it.  The blade is engraved with a foliate decoration.  Sheffield 1898 and made by Thomas Marples.  The piece is in excellent condition.

Rare George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Fork.  The mother of pearl handle is plain and has an engraved cap.  The blade has two George III heads stamped on the blade.  This represented the fact that duty was doubled on silver.  This mark was only used for 9 months during 1797.  The only defect that the marks are worn.

Rare George V Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is plain and is decorated with a black Three Legged Symbol etched on to the handle which represents the Isle of Man.  Sheffield 1931 and made by John Batt & Co. 

Condition:Excellent.

George III Tortoiseshell Hafted Folding Fruit Fork.  The piece has a nice gadrooned sleeve bolster, and has a nice diagonally striped silver spine, and has engraved decoration to both sides of the fork blade.  The piece dates to around 1790.

Condition:Very Good, one hairline crack across the shell on the reverse.

George IV Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle has a chequerboard engraved pattern, and has a nice silver shell cap at the bottom, and a cap at the top.  Sheffield 1824 and made by Josh Law.

Condition is good, some wear to the edges of the mother of pearl handle on the reverse.

George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The handle is engraved with lines and has some inlaid silver pique work to the centre of the knife in a geometric pattern, and has a nice ribbed long sleeve silver bolster and the silver spine along the edge of the knife.

Condition:Good, no cracks to the handle.

George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is plain, and has an oval vacant shield to the centre of the handle.  The piece has a nice long sleeve gadrooned bolster, and has a bright-cut bordered edge to the blade. Nice diagonally striped silver spine along the edge of the knife.

Condition:One crack to the reverse of the scales.

George IV Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl is engraved with floral pattern, and the silver blade has a nice bright-cut bordered edge to it, and is engraved with the initials "J.W.".  Sheffield 1825, and made by Samuel Kirby. 

Condition:Good, just some very slight wear to the edge of the mother of pearl on the reverse.

Large George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is plain and has an oval plate to the centre.  It has a nice silver coffin end, and a silver blade in excellent condition which springs in and out. The piece dates to around 1790.

Conditon:One hairline crack to the centre of the handle on the reverse, and part of the solid silver spine to the edge of the knife is missing.

George IV Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is engraved into a chequeboard pattern, and has an engraved silver cap as well.  Sheffield 1827 and made by Josh Law.  The knife has a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the knife.

Condition:One partial hairline crack to the reverse.

Small George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is engraved with horizontal lines across the handle.  It has a nice engraved silver cap, and a silver diagonally striped silver spine.  The piece dates to around 1800. 

Condition:One hairline crack to the front of the handle.

George IV Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle has an oval vacant cartouche to the centre of the handle surrounded by floral decoration with two metal roundels, and on the reverse two large sunbursts.  Sheffield 1829.

Condition:Good, some stratches to blade, the blade protrudes slightly from the handle.

George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is engraved with two large sunburts on the front, as well as on the reverse.  The silver blade has a bright-cut bordered edge to it, and dates to around 1810, and an engraved solid silver spine along the edge of the knife. 

Condition:Some wear to the cap, and scales rising very slightly, no cracks.

Rare George IV All Silver Folding Fruit Knife.  The handle is embossed with flowers.  Sheffield 1827 and made by John Nowill.  "Catherine Wiltshire" is engraved on the blade.

Condtion:Part of handle is missing.

George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is engraved into a chequerboard pattern.  There are two silver caps, one at the top and one at the bottom.  There is a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the knife.  Sheffield 1816.

Condition:Good.

Condition:Good, no cracks, the silver has worn off the bolster on the reverse of the knife.

Large Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle is engraved with a cornucopia full of fruit on both sides to the handle, and fruit is engraved on the silver blade.  Sheffield 1859 and is made by Martin Hall & Co.

Condition:There is a crack to the mother of pearl on the front, and the blade protrudes from the handle.

Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Folding Silver Bladed Fruit Knife.  The mother of pearl handle has an oblong plate to the centre of the knife, and is carved into a fan shaped pattern at the bottom of the knife.  Sheffield 1838.

Condition:Crack to the front.
